Eleven elementary school teachers received Golden Apple Awards for their work in the Jonesboro, Valley View, Nettleton, Bay, Westside and Brookland school districts. Following the presentations, Jonesboro University president and educator RUSTY CLARK thanked the club for establishing these awards, saying that the schools, teachers and staff sincerely appreciate recognition from the community for the work they do.
