The Rotary Club of Jonesboro funds philanthropic activities in the community from proceeds from its fund raising events such as the annual Arkansas Sportshow.   Grant applications will be reviewed and allocated quarterly (April, July, October & January).  Applicants will be notified in writing of the acceptance or rejection of their application.

Eligibility

• Any community based organization or IRS 501(c)(3).
• Priority will be given to those projects initiated by or adopted as special emphasis areas by the club, and/or those that affect the greatest number of youth over the greatest period of time.

The Rotary Club does not typically award grants for:

• Specific individuals (students raising money for trips, etc)  Exceptions to this are for Rotary sponsored events.
• Operating funds or continuing support
• Capital improvements – campaigns for buildings or property
• Sectarian activities of religious organizations
• Partisan political issues

Submit the grant application to:

Include the following:

1. Name of Organization
2. Address
3. Name of contact person
4. Proof of 501(c)(3) status
5. A brief narrative of the proposed project, including projected time line
6. Amount of money requested
7. Budget for project
8. Description of how program or project will be evaluated

After the funding has been received, provide the following:

1. Periodic updates on project progress (long-term projects only)
2. Final report of project
