Rotary Club of Jonesboro – Day of Service

Tuesday, December 9, 2009

Click here to sign up!For the holiday season this year, our Fellowship Committee has planned a series of mini service projects instead of a Holiday Party. Projects will occur on Tuesday, December 9.

The following list of projects will give members a broad spectrum of choices for service that will touch the lives of hundreds of people right here in our community.  Most projects will require one hour or less, with most available between 11:30 and 1:00.  Some have more flexible times.

Our goal is 100% participation by our members, plus we hope you will invite your family and co-workers to join in.

You are also encouraged to invite prospective members to participate in this Day of Service and introduce someone to Rotary’s motto of SERVICE Above Self.

  • Tables will be set up for each project that will have the list of members who’ve volunteered instructions, contact information and directions to the project.
  • Box lunches will be available at St. Bernards Auditorium starting at 11:00 a.m. or delivered to volunteer work sites if selected when registering.
  • If a project is marked with a # sign, work clothes will be appropriate.
  • Unless otherwise noted, everything needed for the project will be provided on site.
