 The 2008 Rotary Club of Jonesboro Day of Service, held on Tuesday, December 9 was one of our most successful. In its third year, the event generated a lot of service to our community. Click the links above to view media coverage, photos and information about the projects. Add your comments below.

- 100+ Rotarians gave an hour or more
- 8 Interacters gave an hour
- 25 diaper bags filled for PACES mothers
- 1,000 SIDS "Baby Sleeping" door hangers for new mothers
- 150 holiday cards and letters written to service men and women
- 11 books read to nearly 1,000 elementary students
- 650 dollars from the Arkansas Sportshow funded these projects
- 1 closet and 1 storage room cleaned out at City Youth
- 140 Boxes of frozen meat packaged at the Food Bank
- 400 donor thank you letters prepared at the Food Bank
- 100 information packets assembled at the Hispanic Center
- Room full of garments sorted for women's clothes closet
- 11 units of blood donated plus 2 platelet donations
- 325 dollars collected for the Salvation Army Kettle Drive
- 68 photos taken
